How do you figure he almost won? He lost damn near every key swing state. That election was not close.

I’m in a similar boat as you and my current plan is to switch to PopOS. They are Ubuntu/Debian based so you will be familiar with it, and they also are a distro that is more focused on gaming, so you will have an easier time with video card drivers.
It also will take up a ridiculous amount of space.
I do it because I like having full control over my data and services. Nobody can take it away from me or change the terms in which its provided.
Which is a lot when you are at that level of competition.
Being tall is not ideal for short distance sprinting.
I think a John Wick game with a similar gameplay style as Rise Son of Rome would be killer.
They do sell skins. Also its on Gamepass, so Microsoft may see it as a game that attracts subscribers.
You only need one account and that will allow you to post and comment on other instances.
That is definitely a good lead
As others have said, so what? It’s decentralized platform. If you don’t want to interact with them, then don’t. Nobody runs lemmy. It’s a collection of instances communicating with each other. That is the beauty of it.
Word man. If we can pull this off I really think it’s a better future for social media in general.
I mean ya, that’s not super surprising. The hardest part of getting a site to take off is adoption.
I cant seem to find it, but I believe I saw someone mention this feature is being worked on and is on their github.
Yep, I’m using lemmy.world mostly as a trial period, but I plan on getting on my own instance to help reduce the load on the community any way I can. Will probably get a few friends on it as well.
I’ll get my popcorn
Make sure to stay active! This only works if we all work together!
I will say though that the mobile site has sucked for a long time. Lol
Well 2016 wasnt close either, so saying it was closer than 2016 isn’t saying much. The paragraph basically says “if he had won the key parts of the election he would have won”. Well…ya…
He was dominated in the key parts of the election just like Hilary was. I agree with you he is absolutely a threat in the upcoming election, but he did not almost win 2020.
