Its the water - its turning the freaking frogs gay
Its the water - its turning the freaking frogs gay
Thank you!
Hmmmm yeah I’m torn on this one. Id put stray into a category where visuals are actually important and I much prefer to play it at 4k than on my Steam Deck. Normally Im 100% gameplay over everything.
But it doesn’t look awful they did a great job working with switch hardware.
Overall I’m happy more people get to play Stray, its the first game my non gaming girlfriend saw videos of and wanted me to buy it for her. And like a lot of people, she probably wouldn’t even notice if it was running at 1440 vs 720.
Orange kitty go purrrr
Hey, this is really cool and seems to be pretty stable for me. Im sure a lot of people into sports would be glad to have this
Looks like the perfect amount of goofy to dump like 20 hours in over a couple weekends then never launch again
Worked as a telecom lineman, he’s not wrong, but we (our company personally) normally go the extra steps to remove it for aesthetic reasons. Helps when the job is done and the foreman is doing his review walks.
Gaming PC is in the living room for gaming and media center.
Laptop in my office up stairs for programming and I use Steam Remote Play for games that require keybmouse. Its nice because I can just unplug it from my dock and head downstairs with it if I want to browse on the couch.
I have a tablet too, but that’s used solely for movies, YouTube, or when I’m DMing because the footprint is smaller.
The right to hold a bigotted opinion should NOT superceed my right of self expression. You want to be a homophobe? Fine, but keep it to your fucking self and let’s the gays exist.
Agreed, stop scrolling the comments and go read it random reader.
I used to get so excited by tech advances but now I’ve gotten to the point where its still cool and a fascinating application of science… but this stuff is legitimately existential. The author raises great points around it.
And that kids is what kindney stones turn into, make sure you collect them all!
I don’t mean to backseat engineer, but ensuring your BRAIN INTERFACE DEVICE succsessfully connects seems pretty fucking vital and worth of a redesign. Even if its expensive. Even if the probability is low, it needs to be virtually zero.
Its hard to take a step back and view this as regular product development that has timelines and such strictly due to the nature of the product. This is almost literally the most invasive a product can be, you better fucking nail your execution.
The people that actually would benefit from this technology deserve better.
It sucks they’re enforcing it but at least steam is accurate now ffs
Farcry 3-5 are some of favorite games to revisot. Gameplay is just so solid.
Yeah, it felt nice to play, but after dumping 8 hours into it two weeks ago I can’t even remember what a single enemy looks like.
Great points! Thanks for expanding. I agree with your point that people most often want a recreation of what was perceived. Its going to make this whole AI enhanced eviidence even more nuanced when the tech improves.
Fantasitc expansion of my thought. This is something that isn’t going to be answered with an exact scientific value but will have to decided based on our human experiences with the tech. Interesting times ahead.
This actually opens an interesting debate.
Every photo you take with your phone is post processed. Saturation can be boosted, light levels adjusted, noise removed, night mode, all without you being privy as to what’s happening.
Typically people are okay with it because it makes for a better photo - but is it a true representation of the reality it tried to capture? Where is the line of the definition of an ai-enhanced photo/video?
We can currently make the judgement call that a phones camera is still a fair representation of the truth, but what about when the 4k AI-Powered Night Sight Camera does the same?
My post is more tangentially related to original article, but I’m still curious as what the common consensus is.
We were almost literally in the exact same scenario and era of home. We went with an 18", our first dishwasher in 8 years.
My girlfriend and I cook a LOT, so we make way too many dishes. On a bad day I fill up the dishwasher before my sink is empty and have to hand wash a few extra plates. I usually avoid putting pots and pans in there, honestly it doesn’t fit well with much else in the bottom row if you have that utensil thing in place.
If you only use a couple plates and a mug or two a day, its really easy to just put it in the dishwasher Instead of the sink and when full just hit CLEAN.
Was it worth it… I guess? How much do you hate dishes. Anything more than 2 people probably go bigger.
I recently gotten into Python programming for funzies with ChatGPT as my tutor. Definitely need a tool like this.
To fill up the meter you must place 3 kibbles treats per floof. I don’t make the rules just enforce them.
