Science already has an established method for debating and refuting scientific findings/claims. So this idea that we need to make a spectacle out of it is so disingenuous on its face. “oh but if they know what they are talking about it would be easy to defend in a debate”, but it goes the other way. Then they keep moving the goal posts on what qualifies as a “real” scientific test, and I just can’t have a good faith conversation with these people. I’ll correct people in real life, but the internet is a cesspool and I don’t have the patience.
Yakuza - any of them honestly. They run so well on the SD it’s incredible.
I use discord for 2 things, my personal group chat with friends that I manage, and keeping up with Mechanical Keyboard artisan shops and manufacturers. So I mean it wont be a huge leap for me to migrate to something better.
This is essentially where I am with it. I get the outrage but for now I don’t have an issue. But likely as with many things lately, we should maybe pursue the federated option.
Your client may show it and your instance may collect the locally but once your instances syncs with Beehaw again it will update. At least that’s my understanding - not sure if there is someone with a better understanding about federated instances and how they handle downvotes.
dragon quest monsters 3, Luigis mansion 2 remaster, pikman 1+2 hd, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
On here? not possible, the beehaw community this is hosted on has downvotes disabled. Unless you mean on yt which all i can say to that is “its youtube”.
This direct was a hit after hit for me. I am excited for nearly every game on the lineup
This was wonderful looking. I can’t wait to play it.
That is so funny to me. Imagine how the devs felt to know their game was so notable to get a windows compatibility just for them.
Been playing this for the last year in early access. I have loved all of the progress!
See I originally was like this, and then I tackled it like a coin eater arcade game. Its is begging you to throw yourself over and over at the enemy and learn their patterns. It becomes so satisfying when after a few hours your a master at parrying an enemy the day before killed you in seconds. The games do a fantastic job of giving you that feeling of a protagonist whose finally learned to work their powers. Then you get a new enemy and its back to square one.
Is there a steamdeck lemmy community? I quite liked having a place to talk about performance of some games or tweaks or releases.
I count these guys up there with the devs I will ALWAYS buy their new game. They just mail everything I love about indie games.
Oh for sure, I mean how many games have that simply because they assume you will replay it? Why not do it for a long running series?? it’s bonkers.
While on one hand I completely and totally agree that the games seem to always ignore the seasoned vets of the series. It’s also been very clear that their design choice is to always assume this is your first Pokémon and that you ARE a child since that’s the target audience always. So the hand holding is always a result of that design choice, now obviously there’s better ways to go about it, Pokémon is the only game that treats me like a child for the first 4 hours but then opens the system up and leaves me alone. But I also think it’s been getting better, look at the 3DS generation of games, those things were relentless with its constant “hey look over here and do this!” That it took a lot for me to finish those games.
Its not that hard to fathom when you have worked with these types of people.
All it was was a numbers meeting, no User Experience folks in the room. They said how much revenue they would increase quarter over quarter, and how much engagement it would drive. Everyone claps, the meeting ends they move forward with the next terrible design decision. Companies no longer take focus group testing seriously for anything.
