There was another video of this from another angle. It’s called a “rotor wash”. Those fuckheads did it on purpose. They said they were “trying to land to deliver some generators”. Where were the generators then? Why did they fly off after that instead of finding an appropriate place to land to offload these mysterious generators? The reason that these assholes are trying to block aid is that the feds have deals with “aproved” aid providers, which most likely involve kickbacks/donations to certain political groups.
Good luck with that. On an unrelated note, how’s that arrest of a certain Israli war-criminal going? Or a certain Orange Asshole former, and maybe future POTUS?
It’s really quite a accomplishment considering people aren’t going to movies like they did pre-covid. I saw the matinee and spent $19.50: $8 for admission, $11.50 for a medium soda and medium popcorn. Highway fucking robbery.

I agree, but the intended chilling effect has been more successful than not, in my opinion. That and the recent “coincidental” deaths of certain whistleblowers.

Lawlessness, or more specifically the idea of “might makes right”. They just convicted Trump of 34 counts of fraud. Will he go to jail? Probably not. Our Congresspeople have rewritten the laws to allow themselves to do insider trading to enrich themselves to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. There is a profession in this country called a “lobbyist”, which is just a professional bribery middleman. The Supreme Court (not wanting to be left out of the so called “side hustle” culture), just two days ago, deemed it legal for government officials to accept “gratuities”. I wish this was a fucking joke.
The stat that I had read was that on average Texans own guns at a rate of 4 per person, so for every person that doesn’t own any, there has to be someone taking up the slack. The joke is that Texans are a distillation of what America is to the rest of the world: loud, obnoxious, and absolutely sure they’re right.
The point I was trying to make is that even though Canadians own a shitload more guns per capita, they have far less gun violence than us.
I guess they didn’t kill enough of us old/fat/sick fuckers with Covid, so they’re going to give it another go with fucking bird flu. How the fuck is Fauci not in prison? I used to be anti-gun, until I found out that Canadians own guns at the same rate as TEXANS. We Americans are losing our fucking minds. We’re kept at each other’s throats to distract us from the fact that the 1% are fucking us all over.
Most colleges are just sports franchises that just have higher education as a side hustle these days.

I am totally for free college. If we can’t agree on that, the price should at least be capped or seriously reduced. It seems kind of convienient that the topic is coming up again in an election year. The problem is that both parties are beholden to the military industrial complex. With military recruitment at an all time low, they can’t afford to just “give it away” (give it away, give it away, give it away now). The Rethuglicans will use their bullshit “bootstrap” argument, because they only give a shit about a problem when it affects them directly. The Demohypocrites will wring their hands and pretend to try to do something while ceding ground to Repubs so they can make a show of it. It’s the corporations that own both parties, and nothing is going to change until we kick these entrenched douchebags out on their asses.
Also, look how easy it is for Congress and POTUS to approve billions for war in Ukraine and billions in money and weapons to keep the genocide in Israel going (with all of the afforementioned hand-wringing, of course).

Or you could “borrow” a big ol’ dump truck from a construction site (there are several construction sites in Alamance). If I did this I would back into the statue base to knock it over without destroying the engine, to make it easier to get away. At first it was going to be to forgive all student debt for everyone making under $80k, then it was $20k, then they knocked it down to $10k but only for left-handed, red-headed, teacher-nurses. If they gave away free education, their military recruitment (which mostly benefits from taking advantage of desperate poor people) would suffer even more, and it’s already at an all-time low. And that’s setting aside that colleges now are just huge moneymaking Ponzi-scheme, hedge-fund sports franchises that do education as a side-hustle.
