People who don’t like anything are incredibly boring, in my humble opinion. Imagine putting all of this effort into an essay about why other people shouldn’t like the things that they like. I think a lot of people mistake being a contrarion for being an intellectual.

Reddit working overtime to keep me from ever returning

Yeah honestly I picked it randomly and had been regretting not going with a bigger instance, but now I’m glad I went with it because I can still read both Beehaw and Lemmy.world so I’m not really caught up in that whole drama. Seems that there are some advantages to being on a smaller instance

I’ve been doing All/Hot as my default view and it seems to refresh often enough, not sure why I’m not having the same problem as others

I saw the same thing, lots of slurs being thrown around. I blocked the individual users. I’m not on either instance so I can still see both
