  • Biden’s promise is that Trump won’t accept election results, and the nation will be plunged into cataclysmic ecocidal fascism.

So why is he spending his time outlawing tiktok instead of truth social if the risk is truly so monumental? Why does Biden seem to care more about allowing trump to run than halting fascism? Why would the democrats rather lose than shift left?

The funniest part is watching liberals try to understand where this discontentment on the actual left is coming from: is it russian bots? Is it maga trolls? Is it Chinese agents? As opposed to the revelation that maybe some people are further left and more apathetic than run-of-the-mill American liberal democrats. Anger at Joe Biden is anything but inorganic.

Marxists weren’t warning about the inevitable alignment between fascists and liberals for 200 years for nothing, you know. There’s history behind that argument.

Take a step back and understand you are now arguing in favor of perpetuating your ecocidal, genocidal, and imperialist political project at the expense of 32,000 palestinian lives. You are the bad guy. I suspect that 30 years from now when the choice is between democrat who wants 5 genocides and a republican who wants 10, you’ll still be screeching about how important it is to vote for 99% Hitler since political analysis for liberals stops at the revelation that 99<100.

  • You say “make it fit reality”, but why do I feel like what you really mean is “make sure it does not at all challenge US hegemony”.

If your ecocidal political project whose institutions were devised a blink ago by 30 year old slavers starts going genocidal, your project has lost the right to exist. To put it plainly, I think we all have a duty to start thinking about what dismantling the genocidal US empire would look like: reading marx, getting armed, building networks, embracing anti-capitalism, and preparing for this country’s undeniably inevitable backslide into fascism.

  • When I reached your situation, I started rackmounting which has saved me a lot of time.

I got a 1u dell poweredge r210 and slapped in a 10Gb network card. Loaded up OPNsense onto it. OPN sense was not easy to learn how to use, for me at least. Struggled to get everything running smoothly. But I am very happy I went with rack mounting instead of adding to the rat’s nest.

It all comes down to the same basic premise: we aren’t going to consume our way out of the climate catastrophe. I don’t blame people for thinking this, though. If you’ve lived your whole life under an economy and social order who’s keystone and ultimate guiding force is consumption, it’s easy to see consumption as your only recourse. Something something, if all you have is a hammer, everything starts to look like nails. Our only option is to completely dismantle the systems that catalyzed the climate crisis: embracing anti-capitalism, crushing special interests, and ultimately empowering working class people.

  • It’s easy to understand the leftist claim that liberals always ultimately bend to fascism when you see comments like this that explain the US’s turn to fascism is because of leftists(?).

You comprise one of the two sides who blindly vote according to the principle of “he’s better than the other guy”. I suspect you’d be fine with more genocides in the decades to come only insofar as they’re committed by democrats. Meanwhile, actual leftists will continue to imagine better systems, build mutual aid networks, and arm vulnerable comrades. American electotalism isn’t going to stop the backslide into fascism or the ecocidal intent of the US ruling class.
