I’ve only done it on a remote road with a huge view, so no chance of another car - but plenty of chance of animals stepping out, or even just losing control due to road surface or wind gusts etc…

Its a silly thing to do.

Huge adrenaline rush, but so very silly. These bikes are ridiculously fast.

It’s not something I plan on doing again.

Yep, I’ve topped out my Hayabusa and I feel the same way… Done it 4 or 5 times when I was a little younger but I don’t need to die that way.

I’m so terrified that my wife will go before me…

But I also don’t want to let her down by going before her and making her live her own last days/weeks/years alone…

I live in Melbourne, Australia - and I couldn’t afford anything within an hours drive of the city.

There’s a photo of me when I’m about 3 playing Sonic on the Megadrive when it came out… I don’t recall games before that

People broke into our house while we were upstairs with our 1 week old baby, at 1am. They took our keys and our car. We have 4 kids. No way to get them to school or me to work.

Turned out they were aged between 15 and 17 and got a slap on the wrist. We got an insurance payout and a different car.

Ridiculous.
