Thanks for everyone’s kind words on my first comic strip. Here is my second.
Jump from high enough and it might as well be concrete.
Can confirm, my brother broke his neck
Oh… did he, like, die?
Sometimes I pretend
floor is lava, for the rush
of being alive
- sun tzu
It basically is if you jump from high enough, due to surface tension.
I don’t like this. Not everything can be bubblegum and gumdrops, but this is promoting suicide and as a person that has been very close to that point, i hate this.

To be clear, this may not have been the artist’s intention, but it’s how it read to me.
There’s an annual death diving competition in Norway. It’s also spreading to other countries.
They should do it from twice as high and it’ll live up to it’s name real fast!
Just go higher and higher until the jumper doesn’t come up, and call that the next record to beat…
The current world record in height is 31.3 meters and is held by three competing athletes: Ken Stornes (No), Tore Våge (No), and Côme Girardot (Fr). Among the women, the record is 24.8 meters and is set by Norwegian Asbjørg Nesje

I was at the Stockholm event the other day. Great atmosphere, and pretty ducking sick tricks they were pulling off. Good times!
That’s a great strip! I like the style and can remotely relate to the feeling.
I would love to see more - Keep up the good work!
I really like this OP. This is a fun coping mechanism.
Yeah I wouldn’t make it a habit to practice diving into concrete from high above.
I like to pretend its water
I really like the way you spaced the text as well as the simplicity of this. It reminds me of A Softer World in a really good way.
A Softer World is brilliant. Love coming across this in the wild ♥️
I like your stuff. Your first one was very relatable. this one too in a existentialist testing the limits sort of way.
keep up the good work.
