At least the doors open inside :)
At least reverse the doors so that it’s easier to put keys in the locks.
You seem to apply logic in a place where logic has never been applied
Depending on how the rooms are set up other side of the door. This maybe the best way to maximize pathing through the door. Swinging it other way round would put hinges and door in the way of moving… You know furniture and stuff like a dresser or couch.or fridge.
This way its almost a straight shot through the door with minimal obstructions.
Also the photo looks distorted. Like fisheyed… perspective may be a bit off here.
Good luck, getting something like a couch in one of those apartments.
You’re not even getting grocery bags there

This looks like the ideal location for a traditional penis docking situation https://threewordphrase.com/mission.gif
Pizza’s late dude. $5 off!
The doors aren’t the same height. Is one of the doors a non-standard size?
There’s nothing “standard” about any of this.
Pretty sure that violates at least one building code.
What country was this from?
I found it under a post where people were talking about living in NYC.
It’s absolutely against nyc fire codes
Surely built before NYC had fire codes. In that case, do some buildings with “historical value” somehow get grandfathered in?
Yeah, at least in most cases. They get labeled as “legal non-conforming” and usually are required to become conforming in the event there is any major reconstruction done to fix a casualty event.
I’ve seen buildings like this in the West Village.
Entrance to the Chocolate Factory.
I’m trying to figure out if it’s photoshopped or a camera trick.
I imagine it’s the interior of one of these
