Our Mapy.cz is growing and gradually transitioning to Mapy.com. Such a small change—just two letters—so why write an article about it?

    Be aware that Mapy is made by Seznam, which is basically the Czech equivalent of Google, including the ads and privacy concerns.

      Because Seznam is smaller and European, I think it’s still better than Google. It’s good to break Google’s spying monopoly.

      Thankfully there are also better, non spying apps.

      I know but also they Support Open street map funding. But some people want the data they looking for and easy to use. Mapy has most of the Data because it is Open street map based and I used it but it is not going to ditch osmand because osmand is good for navigation in my City and around. But for longer distance I give it at least a try.
