You have to wonder how far it needs to get before the average person no longer thinks these people ‘earned’ that money.
It drives me crazy that anyone can justify billionaires existing.
It doesn’t matter how much they have, I think it’s a coping mechanism: if they earned it, it means I can also earn it if I work hard enough.
So how do you convince someone that they’re never going to be rich?
Also how long before people realize courts, police, etc exist to protect the wealthy and influential from the rest, not for the common good. It should be clear that the “common good” was a carrot on a stick.
