I saw a few videos on YouTube recently about using Nix to build containers. I’m truly just curious if anyone here in the community uses that approach, if so why? Most people have run into upstream docker images changing or outright vanishing at times, but I’ve never really found myself in situation where it was a big deal. I’d also think building the images in Nix would just confuse most people who build docker images on a regular basis. Anyways I’d love to hear people’s perspectives on this approach.
