If Trump takes the stand it’s not a question of if but when he’ll commit perjury. It’s going to be a litmus test to see how the court reacts when he does. If they let it slide it will be yet another in the long list of crimes he’ll have gotten away with and even more evidence that the rich and powerful don’t have the same justice system as the rest of us. On the other hand if they slap him with a perjury charge and actually prosecute him it will at least show that there are certain lines not even the rich and powerful can cross.

      They got Clinton on perjury.

It’s gonna be hard to explain how blue guy got taken down for perjury, but the Orange bafoon didn’t.

Oh who am I kidding, the facts don’t matter and the points are made up.

Bill Clinton was impeached on perjury charges and acquitted. Is that what you meant?

He still faced consequences in having to lose the presidency.

That’s more than has happened to trump

No president in history has been removed from office by impeachment. Even Nixon resigned before he could be removed. Clinton served the rest of his term after impeachment. So did Trump, after being impeached twice.

Huh? Trump was also impeached and aquited. Twice. He faced the same amount of consequences that Clinton did, except twice.
